Although the summer school holidays may be coming to an end there is still a good month left in the sun, hopefully anyway! This time of year is perfect to bag some summer bargains if you're planning a September escape, Winter break or even a Bank Holiday weekend getaway. So I thought I'd share my favourite summer essentials at the moment.

First up you shouldn't be having fun in the sun without protection! If you're like me and can't resist a bit of Lush and love trying new skincare why not try their Powdered Sunshine.

Planning a picnic in the park? Then this Pizza blanket from Truffle Shuffle might just be the one for you... you know you wanna Pizza this. (Sorry, had too)

I need a Vacay... my thoughts exactly! The cute weekender set featured throughout this post is from Paperchase and includes a gorgeous tote that appeared on my Instagram

Oh and not to forget what is a summer without a new scent? I'm loving these gorgeous ones from Nina Ricci which are limited edition for the summer and inspired by Ice Cream. What's not to love?

Whilst we're talking about summer scents I'm also loving the new Montblanc Emblem Absolu (for men) the entire collection smells incredible and just gets better and better. Also This Is Her! From Zadig & Voltaire is a great one if you're looking for something a little different (it always gets a friend of mine LOADS of compliments)

If a boozy Bank Holiday is on the cards then why not challenge your guests to Prosecco Pong (does it exactly what it says on the tin). Prosecco not included.

My final fragrance for the summer had to be the Nectar Love from DKNY. It couldn't really get more summery could it? I love a fruity, zesty scent and this certainly didn't disappoint and hit all the right notes (get it?).

What would summer be without a Sassy Seashell Spectrum Collections brush set? None! (I just wanted to note that Spectrum Collections had an awful warehouse fire and think they are having stock issues currently but do keep an eye out!)

Did you even go on holiday if you didn't upload a pool float pic? Well yes... but no! I'm currently loving this Pineapple from Talking Tables and this Unicorn from Truffle Shuffle

Finally if you've already been away or your summer is coming to an end why not get old school creative and start a scrap book? or make a mix tape? Whichever takes your fancy!

And So The Adventure Begins... at Paperchase with this scrap book.
