National Dog Day: DFS

In case you didn't already know around two months ago I moved house and so have been putting my interior design hat on a lot lately and really working on my feng shui. To date one of the hardest things to decide on was seating for the living room... aka a place for me to take an afternoon nap.

I endlessly searched the web, Instagram and Pinterest and was inundated with inspo pictures one of my favourite finds has to be Homey Oh My (I might just completely replicate her living room) but I kept ending up back on DFS which really is a one stop shop with so much choice!

Finally I chose a 2 seater sofa and an Arm Chair in a lovely subtle ash grey colour in a textured fabric as being a black pug I tend to shed quite a lot and so I chose a fabric which is best for covering up fur to save endless hoovering... because lets face it nobody likes the sound of a hoover.

Another thing I love about DFS apart from their extensive choice is that every Sofa comes in a variety of fabrics, textures and you can even customise the legs and padding inside cushions to really suit your needs. I opted for a dark wood option on my 2 seater sofa and Chair as to not clash with the dark wood floors in my new flat.
